His instinctual understanding of consumer markets, buying patterns, and shrink control management, made him a key player during significant mergers as a primary leader enlisted to secure struggling assets and increase profitability with fast turnaround goals exceeding expectations. A high achiever and natural teacher, he was enlisted to lead recruiting, sales, and team training. Ed facilitated regional openings for eighteen markets, and all upper management hires for Krispy Kremes in the Arizona region. This led Ed to his next steps on the national sales front for both a beverage company and ultimately in sales management for an international marketing company specializing in digital marketing tactics. He was a Presidents Club winner as a top producer for every full calendar year of employment, followed by multiple President Club winner awards in sales management and leadership. His passion for community service and teaching lead him to speak in forums like Pima County College and create curriculums for business owners in digital marketing. Over the next several years, Ed diversified his digital marketing and strategic partnerships landing in the performance marketing industry. He is touted as an expert in space and holds one of the most extensive aged data sets in the lead generation sphere. As Sr. VP of sales and strategic partnerships, he was able to propel companies like NuHome to be strategically positioned in 20 states and on the national stage in less than three years. He helped facilitate enterprise software development and sales; Ed still serves on NuHome's board of directors. For the last six years, Ed has built a small empire in the lead generation genre opening over nineteen companies in that time, some of which specialize in creating new revenue streams and assisting in strategic initiatives when companies are ready to make their next significant jump in revenue growth. His teams have vast experience scaling sales teams, lead generation in all verticals, data modeling, sales development, and partner acquisition to connect businesses and monetize their assets. Several of his companies focus on both aged and real-time lead generation. Now an investor with the ability to predict market changes and forecast revenue opportunities, Ed looks for partnerships in many business sectors as well as continued efforts to give back. As a Proprietary Equities Trader for a boutique hedge fund, Triton Global, a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for a leading broker-dealer, and landing at RBC Dain Rauscher, his experience consisted of managing Institutional Fixed Income Portfolios for Banks with up to $750 Million in Assets and laid the groundwork for his professional expertise, his ability to quickly accel and his genuine love of sales. Finding that he enjoyed engaging with people more than being behind a computer, he segued into an education debt consolidation company. His core belief in helping people, high energy, and his achieving personality led him to champion a team from 50 agents to 300 over a short timeframe. Working on the floor and the focus on phone sales led him to deeply correlate lead generation, aged data, with sales success. This integral connection would shape his next endeavor by taking on a Director role at a South Carolina call center building the business from the ground up leading a high-performance sales team from 4 agents to 200 agents in less than 18 months. David oversaw performance calling campaigns, secured multi-million-dollar contracts, and managed campaigns for leading multi-billion-dollar energy utilities such as Duke Energy, So-Cal Gas and Electric (Sempra Energy), CPS Energy, and The Cleveland Water Department. Because of his intense work ethic, belief in a consultative sales approach, and ability to simplify the sales process, he built customer loyalty and a staff of loyalists, some of whom are still with him today. Back in New Jersey and compelled to start his own company, David created Solar Direct Marketing. A leading performance marketing company specializing in real-time lead generation for the solar sector. David's ability to respond, consult, and lead as well as forecast changing trends has helped solar companies accelerate to the number one positions in the USA and just positioned Solar Direct Marketing at 187 Inc. 5000 list as a fastest growing business. Solar Direct Marketing merged with Connecting the Dots to form Connection Holdings and now serves end-to-end in the performance marketing space. Offering real-time leads, aged data, and technology platforms while successfully managing campaigns for dozens of top companies in the following verticals: Solar, De-Regulated Energy, Home Improvement, Health Insurance/Medicare, Debt Relief, Home Warranty, and many others. David’s primary priority is his family, traveling from anywhere in the world to ensure they are together on weekends. He lives with his wife and children in Miami, Florida.
