Affiliate Relationship Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Affiliate Relationship Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on recruiting/prospecting new affiliates, developing processes and initiatives related to recruitment, managing affiliate relationships, and then transitioning these relationships to the Account Management team. The affiliate relationship specialist will be responsible for managing and reporting on the overall health of the relationship(s) with affiliate partner(s), including staying on top of industry trends and having a thorough understanding of product offerings. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and specifically Pay-Per-Call. The Affiliate Relationship Specialist will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align affiliate activities with overall company goals and will also travel to industry shows to build partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit  and onboard new affiliates.
  • Develop affiliate recruitment strategies.
  • Help develop affiliate PR strategies and work with the marketing team to roll out things like email blasts, SM content, forum updates etc. to generate affiliate interest.
  • Coordinate between affiliates and Account Management team.
  • Monitor affiliate performance, consistently communicating affiliate needs between account management team and leadership team.
  • Analyze recruitment/onboarding data.
  • Make suggestions to improve onboarding processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain affiliate relationships, including discussing potential new opportunities with new and active affiliates and communicating opportunities to the leadership team.
  • Re-engage dormant affiliate accounts.
  • Investigate and report on new industry trends and technologies, and discuss with leadership team.
  • Resolve onboarding issues.
  • Track affiliate recruitment metrics.
  • Report on recruitment performance.
  • Identify partnership opportunities at shows.
  • Travel to industry shows regularly.
Required Experience

Candidates should have a proven track record in affiliate marketing or a related field, ideally with at least 2-5 years of experience. Previous roles in digital marketing, sales, or business development are highly desirable. The ideal/successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with affiliate tracking software, consider themselves a self-starter, hate being micromanaged, and have a history of building successful affiliate programs or relationships. Knowledge of and comfortability with Microsoft office suite is a requirement. A background in, or a deep understanding of media buying, or online advertising is a plus. Traveling to industry shows and events is a key component of this position.
